Alex received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. On the job with C.D. Smith Construction for just under four years, he recently completed the Dale Carnegie Course: Effective Communications & Human Relations / Skills for Success. Assigned as Project Manager on Ascent, Alex is responsible for assisting with formulating budgets, coordinating field operations, preparing cost breakdowns and modifications, and coordinating purchasing and expediting for the overall project. - Adam Arndt, Catalyst Construction
As the President of Catalyst Construction, Adam is responsible for ensuring a deep understanding of both the complexities of building construction and the methodology behind securing and managing reliable construction budgets. Adam has earned a reputation throughout his twenty years in construction (the last ten with Catalyst Construction), for his keen ability to come with a solution-based mindset leveraging his creative forward-thinking ideas even under the most challenging and pressure-filled scenarios. In addition, Adam leads with a passion and high attention to detail that allows him to build trust and confidence in clients and colleagues alike. - Jason Korb, Korb + Associates
As principal architect and owner of Korb + Associates, Jason is a licensed architect in 19 states with 24 years of experience. He brings a broad understanding of the design and construction industry to bear, largely in the service of mission based clients. He has been involved with numerous award-winning education, commercial, mixed use, and student housing facilities. Jason is also regarded as an international thought leader on the adoption of mass timber construction, which he believes will become the benchmark for sustainable housing in the twenty first century. He has led the design of Ascent MKE, which, when complete in 2022, will be the tallest mass timber hybrid tower in the world. He has presented mass timber architecture at international conferences in Portland, OR, Chicago, IL, and Dubai, UAE.
