Facilitating Knowledge and Understanding
We are deeply committed to education on Lean principles so we can create an industry that produces outstanding results for everyone. LCI has books, videos, publications, glossaries, presentations, articles, virtual simulations and many other resources available to our community.
Providing a Home Base through Communities of Practice
Volunteer-led LCI Communities of Practice (CoPs) are organized in major building markets from coast to coast. They offer opportunities to connect locally, participate in education courses and workshops, hear from local Lean project teams, attend Gemba walks, and more.
Hosting Education Events Locally & Nationally
Whether you are a seasoned Lean Design and Construction practitioner or just starting out, support and continuous learning are essential. LCI has many educational and networking events where we teach Lean thinking, encourage a learning mindset and create an environment of collaboration and sharing.
Fostering And Conducting Research Projects To Further Lean Development
The Lean Construction Institute invests in a variety of unique programs to support industry awareness and adoption of Lean. As part of that, we support research projects conducted by major universities as well as other research and case studies.
