Instructor:

• Tom Martin is an Architectural Project Director with over twenty years in design and construction. As a Senior Associate at Stantec he’s spent the last six years delivering healthcare construction projects in the IPD delivery method. Tom’s passion for Lean started in 2012 and since then he’s added great value to the LCI community mentoring designers, builders, and owners in the principles of IPD. He leads the Lean curriculum for the Western region at Stantec, facilitating their education.
  Tom’s focus for questions will be Building Lean Teams and Promoting Lean Culture
• Larry Summerfield, SE is a Project Manager and Structural Engineer for Buehler Engineering. He has 34 years’ experience designing all manner of structures and is an avid Lean practitioner. His goal is to help change the design and construction industry to be less fragmented and more integrated and collaborative.
  Larry’s focus for questions will be the Last Planner System^®
•  Justin Wise, AIA, Stantec is an architecture and design professional with 18 years of experience integrating the planning, design, and management of the built environment. Justin’s notable projects include multi-million dollar hospital and clinic designs, as well as work in the commercial and hospitality sector. Justin is passionate about lean and integrated project delivery and actively manages several ongoing IPD/IFOA projects in California.
  Justin is the Lean Wild Card – Any Lean topic welcome
• Tom Guardino, Herrero Builders As a veteran leader with over 30 of years construction experience Tom has a knack for building highly productive and collaborative teams. His extensive experience in managing large construction teams has given Tom the opportunity to learn how to be an effective and successful leader. Having been responsible for many new buildings and extensive renovation projects Tom has a solid track record of completing projects on time and under budget. Most importantly, Tom knows what it means to deliver on his commitments. He takes pride in collaborating with his customers, the public, owners, architects, and trade partners to keep his workers safe, schedules on time, and project sites stress-free.
