The Lean Construction Institute Welcomes Tammy McConaughy as Director of Education and Certification

The Lean Construction Institute (LCI) is very pleased to announce that Ms. Tammy McConaughy shortly will be joining the LCI staff as the Director of Education and Certification. In this capacity she will replace Kristin Hill, who is retiring from LCI in a few weeks. Tammy has had extensive volunteer involvement with LCI over many years in a host of capacities. In fact, she is perhaps the most well-versed person to join the LCI staff, with a deep history of engagement with LCI programs and existing staff in over 10 years. Her previous assignments include eight years with JE Dunn, in which she supported Lean education and deployment efforts on projects. Most recently, she has led Lean education and practice for CRB.

Tammy brings unique skills and qualifications to the job that will enhance her impact and success in this key role. These include formal training in instructional design, Lean Six Sigma, and the application of challenging tools and concepts, such as Choosing by Advantages in support of both teams and individuals. Tammy has long dedicated herself to guiding people and groups to achieve their best. This mindset is tailor made for promoting individual success in this challenging new role with LCI. Tammy will officially join the LCI staff on February 20, 2024.
